The buildings are scheduled as their facades were designated preservable. Rehabilitation and upgrading measures featured three underground parking levels and complete rearrangement and internal bearing masonry and partition walls. The sides of the excavations required for the underground parking were supported by a system comprising 12,0 long soldier piles prestressed anchors and shotcrete lining. During construction the outer masonry was braced by steel trusses and vertical splints whereas the internal walls were demolished and replaced.
